The Test Setup

We printed identical test models on a Bambu Lab A1 (bedslinger) and P1S (enclosed CoreXY) using four brands:

  • ANTINSKY PLA+ High Speed
  • Bambu Lab PLA Basic
  • eSUN PLA+
  • Polymaker PolyTerra PLA

Each spool was dried for 6 hours at 50°C before testing. We used default Bambu Studio profiles for each filament type.

Speed Test Results

At 300mm/s (Sport Mode), all four filaments performed adequately. But at 500mm/s (Ludicrous Mode), the differences were stark:

  • ANTINSKY PLA+ HS: Zero under-extrusion, consistent layer lines, no stringing. The only filament that maintained a perfect surface finish at max speed.
  • Bambu Lab PLA Basic: Minor under-extrusion on overhangs. Acceptable but not pristine.
  • eSUN PLA+: Visible under-extrusion on long straight walls. Needs flow rate compensation above 400mm/s.
  • Polymaker PolyTerra: The matte finish helped hide imperfections, but flow consistency suffered above 350mm/s.

Color Accuracy

ANTINSKY's 46-color palette is their strongest asset. We measured six colors with a spectrophotometer — average Delta E (color deviation) was 1.8, comparable to Bambu Lab's OEM filament (1.6). eSUN averaged 3.2 and Polymaker 2.9.

Value for Money

At approximately €18-22 per kg (from InnoStation 3D), ANTINSKY PLA+ HS costs about 30% less than Bambu Lab's OEM filament while matching or exceeding its performance. For print farms running 24/7, that's real savings.
