PLA is great for decorations and prototypes, but when you need a part that survives heat, stress, or outdoor conditions, you graduate to PETG or ABS. Both are engineering materials — but they serve different purposes.

ANTINSKY PETG: The Workhorse

ANTINSKY PETG combines PLA-level ease of printing with near-ABS mechanical properties. It prints cleanly at 230-250°C on a 70-80°C bed, requires no enclosure, and produces minimal fumes. It's UV-resistant, making it ideal for outdoor parts.

Best for: Functional prototypes, drone parts, outdoor fixtures, mechanical brackets, printer upgrades.

Key specs: Tensile strength 50 MPa, impact resistance 5 kJ/m², glass transition 80°C.

ANTINSKY ABS: The Heavy-Duty Option

ANTINSKY ABS delivers superior heat resistance (up to 98°C before softening) and better layer adhesion than PETG — but you need an enclosure. Without one, warping and delamination are almost guaranteed.

Best for: Automotive interior parts, electronics enclosures, parts exposed to engine bay temperatures.

Key specs: Tensile strength 42 MPa, impact resistance 18 kJ/m², glass transition 105°C.
