July 2026 Industry Roundup: Key 3D Printing Developments
The 3D printing industry continues accelerating in mid-2026. Here is our monthly roundup of the most significant developments across leading brands.
Bambu Lab: A2L Launches with Modular Cutting
Bambu Lab's biggest news is the A2L — a large-format A-series printer with 330 × 320 × 325 mm build volume, offering 105% more space than the A1. Priced at $469 (base) / $569 (Combo with AMS Lite), it introduces a PMSM servo extruder, adaptive vibration compensation, modular blade cutting and pen plotting, up to 19 colors via AMS mixing, and UL GREENGUARD certification. The cutting module turns the A2L into a Cricut competitor. Bambu Lab's 4th Anniversary Sale is running through July.

eSUN: Real Medical Applications
eSUN's Bone White PLA+ was used by Formon3D to produce 1:1 orthopedic anatomical models for the University Clinical Center of Kosovo. The 40–50 hour print maintained exceptional dimensional stability, and surgeons praised the realistic appearance for preoperative planning. In robotics, eSUN's FlexOne elastic resins (55A–85D) enable muscle joint simulation without mixing or activation period limits.

Polymaker: Engineering Material Breakthroughs
Polymaker's PolyMax series uses nano-level toughening for PLA with impact strength approaching ABS. The PolyMide nylon series with chopped carbon fiber delivers exceptional stiffness for drone frames and industrial jigs, backed by multi-laser quality control across full spools.
Creality, Phrozen & Uniformation
Creality continues with K2 Plus and K1C printers plus Space Pi filament dryers. Phrozen expanded its resin lineup with Aqua 8K, TR300 high-temp resin, and water-washable dental resins. Uniformation gains traction with Cure 3 Ultra (362mm volume) and W230 ultrasonic wash machine for professional post-processing.
Trend: Materials Drive Adoption
Materials innovation is driving 3D printing adoption into medical, robotics, jewelry, dental, and engineering verticals. As filaments and resins become more specialized, the addressable market expands far beyond hobbyist models. InnoStation 3D is committed to bringing these cutting-edge materials to makers worldwide.
