Choosing the right filament is the single biggest factor in print success. Here's a practical guide to help you pick the right material for every project.

PLA / PLA+

Best for: Decorative prints, prototypes, beginners. Easy to print at 190-220°C, requires no enclosure. PLA+ adds impact resistance. Not for high-heat applications.

PETG

Best for: Functional parts, outdoor use, mechanical components. Prints at 230-250°C. Combines PLA's ease with ABS's durability. Resistant to UV and moisture.

ABS

Best for: High-temperature applications, automotive parts. Requires enclosure and heated bed at 100°C+. Strong but warps easily without proper setup.

TPU

Best for: Flexible parts, phone cases, drone components. 95A shore hardness is easy to print; lower hardness requires direct drive extruder.
