Not All Filaments Are Created Equal — Pick the Right One

PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, Nylon — each material has unique properties. This guide focuses on the three most practical filaments for makers: PLA, PETG, and ASA.

PLA and PLA+ — The Everyday Workhorse

PETG — The Durable Middle Ground

UV Resistance Good

Best for: Mechanical parts, outdoor use, functional prototypes. More prone to stringing — use retraction 4–6mm at 40mm/s. Shop ANTINSKY PETG.

ASA — The Outdoor Champion

Print Temp 240–260°C
Bed Temp 90–110°C
UV Resistance Excellent

Best for: Outdoor enclosures, automotive parts, drone frames. Requires enclosure. Shop ANTINSKY ASA.
